ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Katie and I am a professionally trained freelance make up artist based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. I trained at London MUSE make up school under world-renowned make up artist Nicci Jackson and under the tuition of David Horne at the House of Glamdolls.

 I have extensive experience in all aspects of the make up industry including television, magazines, red carpet, editorial and beauty however I particularly specialise in bridal make up and education.

 I have always been interested in make up since I was a little girl and I am fascinated by the way it can give you instant confidence. This is how I want every face I make up to feel.

 The products I use are especially selected for their longwearing properties and how they relate to high definition photography. I then select the best products to match your skin tone, skin type and colouring. These include products by Armani Beauty, Inglot, MAC, NARS and Illamasqua to name a few! 

I am fully covered by public liability insurance and work to the guidelines set by the safe beauty association to ensure that I work to the highest standards of hygiene. I also hold a GNVQ in make up theory and application.

My recent clients include; Ashleigh Butler (Winner of 'Britain's Got Talent' 2012) , Stephen Mulhern, Bill Bailey, Jonathan and Charlotte (Runners up 'Britain's Got Talent' 2012), Lee from Steps, Kim Woodburn, Jodie Prenger, Ben Faulks and The Lonsdale Boys. 

My work has been featured in Hello! magazine, Perfect Weddings magazine, Bliss magazine, Sunday Mirror's 'Celebs on Sunday' magazine, Herts and Beds Bridal magazine, Your Dog magazine and The Sun newspaper. 

My television work includes ITV's "Britain's Got Talent', 'Daybreak' and 'That Dog Can Dance!', BBC's 'Who Let the Dogs Out and About?' and 'Football Focus' and ABC's 'Good Morning America'. I have also worked on countless commercials.

My advertising campaigns include Lost Ink, Vintage Tartlette for ASOS and Vets4pets.
